I'm a welder and I've been looking for someone to do something like this just to be sure it was possible. I think you can find some microchips or modules that can give you a better voltage over the output signal to the torch and the form as well, like a PWM; seems to me that your welding machine it's a little too hot in the voltage side with the homemade transformer if you add in series the voltage from the welding machine and the HF adapter you made. Man you won a subscriber, what a great job.

As a machinist I find it wild that this dude put all the time in to make SOME precision parts but then other things were insanely sloppy. Like the main shaft wasn’t even turned straight it, he just used raw stock. And that linkage arm was completely loose. I don’t get it.

I think it is easier to build a preheater into your diesel, and it is probably way easier to run an electric car directly from your solar array. Nice work showing the whole process of refining Biodiesel, I love that stuff!

I run on 100%unwashed BD since 1999. When I used to wash I had only troubles from corrosion.

But why? We used oil in diesel cars like 20 or more years ago as kids. You just filter and use it as it is. Unless new cars will choke on it. Old ones had no problem with it.

I think the glass panes are too close together, so the oil and water stick to them and create a lot of friction - making for less interesting waves. Still, a cool project! You could also add an obstacle.

This mechanism is exactly what I've been looking for! It will allow me to skip bunch of electronics and will make my project way more reliable :) As for Your project. For next iteration: skip the legs. They clearly binding and result is jittery movement. Mount swing point directly to the tank steel frame. It will make entire thing shorter and more stable

it might be a good idea to add something to the water to prevent algae, mold, bacteria, etc. it's a common problem when water cooling computers, so there are products specifically designed for it as well as many other options

You dont need to do any of this with old cars... I ran hundreds of liters on pure used veg oil after just putting it through a simple gravity filter... But i had a pre injection heating system heating the oil to change its viscosity and i started and stopped the engine on normal diesel.

That oil should've never touched human food. It's WW2 ship lubricant that's toxic to a human

people, please be careful, indoors and in the right configuration this, or even way smaller systems can EASILY reach power levels of air pressure change that can immediately und seriously damage internal organs, blood vessels, lungs etc, also from a distance ! in this regard, a rotary sub is a COMPLETELY different beast than any conventional high power car hifi system with normal subs that use much more wattage

Its awesome. But if you take the time and all the parts together...its not sooo cheap at all. If you would work for example 5 hours, you would have money to get 90ltrs or even more Diesel.

man this guy is insane, making such dangerous machines with recycled materials, and, with all respects with little expertise in the techniques... So basically the same machine i wanted to make, but using simple materials.
